In section D) you mounted the hardware to hold the Hama viewer to the drill case. Now we will attach it to the Hama viewer.
Remove the screws from the 1/8" jack and disassemble.
Drill a hole in the top part of the Hama viewer right next to the 2 ridges inside the viewer piece
Insert the plug
Plug faces the direction shown
Mark the small holes for set screws
Drill out holes and screw in the jack
Finished
Plug the viewer into the drill case
OPTIONAL: You can also make a cover for the plug by routing out the existing plastic piece. Drill a center hole for the plug
Route the inside and the screw posts
Cut the piece so you have a small top part left
File and sand at an angle
Place this onto the jack
Finished. Note in this setup the jack is slightly angled inward towards the bottom of the viewer.
Plug the viewer back in and make sure the socket accepts the plug
