RC Landing AirSpeed Indicator Kit (LASI)
This kit allows you to make "carrier" like landings! The speed indicator kit gives the RC pilot visual and aural feedback on his approach speed so every landing is made at the right speed. The kit interfaces with a standard Eagle tree speed sensor (NOT INCLUDED). The user can dial in approach and landing speeds, and the circuit will change the color of the super-bright RGB LED to give feedback on your current airspeed. If you do not know the right speed you should be landing at, fear no more! You can take your plane several mistakes high, slow it down to near stall, and hit a switch on your radio to measure your current airspeed and store it on the board. The circuit can be connected to an aux channel where it will store the current speed that you want to land at while in flight. This is useful for those unknown flight envelopes or planes that react better at certain speeds.

This kit requires some assembly (soldering wires) so you can mount the custom RGB LED.

The included RGB LED comes with power resistors. A second RGB LED can be added to the circuit for even more visibility during landing approaches. Use of a reflector increases brightness of the LED. The LED typically runs off 7.4V @ 1.5A. You can use other battery configurations as long as you use the correct power resistors for the LED.

Kit will fit in turbine, large EDF, and prop nitro models.

Note: Eagle Tree airspeed sensor is not included with the kit!
